Diverse Set of Board Experiences

Bringing the right leaders to the table and proper governance is critical to an organization's sustainability

EmployUs (For-Profit)

Served as the President / Chairman of the EmployUs board of directors from 2015 to 2023. In this role, Ryan was responsible for spearheading the firm's strategy and ensuring the organization was living up to our investor's expectations. He managed the company through multiple rounds of financing, the acquisition to Hireology and the closure of the legacy entity that remained after the acquisition was completed.

One Day Endowments (Non-Profit)

Served as a board member from 2019 to 2022 for a new non-profit organization based in Atlanta, Georgia. Start Now Philanthropy promotes financial literacy in K12 education through children's books, comprehensive educational content, and merit-based scholarships.

NC School of Science & Math (Public Institution)

Actively serving as an alumni association board member and the Engagement Committee Vice Chair since 2022 for the nation's #1 public high school. In this role, Ryan oversees the alumni network platform, volunteer opportunities, and alumni events. In addition to his board responsibilities, he helps teach a class on entrepreneurship and advocates for increasing public education funding in North Carolina.

Pennies 4 Progress (Non-Profit)

Served as the President / Chairman of the Pennies 4 Progress board of directors from 2012 to 2014, responsible for securing the organization's 501(c)3 status, grant funding, and distribution partnership before transitioning leadership to his cofounders to execute on the vision they had built together.
