Launched in the months following the Coronavirus pandemic, Pledge My Check built a national movement of generosity where neighbors supported each other with their stimulus checks
Pledge My Check was launched within a few weeks after the pandemic started with a dedicated group of volunteers from North Carolina.
In order to create a national movement for good, we needed a brand identify that was inspirational and trustworthy. Thank to to Bethany Faulkner for spearheading the brand design for this project.
Encouraging people who were financially stable to donate some or all of their stimulus checks required an mobile optimized website to collect, display and share pledges.
Built the website using Webflow, Airtable, and several other low/no code tools to bring this project to life quickly so we could get more money in the hands of people who need it.
Originary people in 42 states took the pledge to keep their neighbors in their homes and with plenty of food in the pantry.
Building on our relationships from Pennies 4 Progress and NC State University, we recruited over 20 volunteers to build the movement and get the word out. Over the course of several weeks, we met together virtually to do some good while we were all stuck in our homes.
Pledge My Check raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for good in the months after the pandemic changed all of our lives.
